Age
The biggest enemy is age. As the age of the woman increases, there is a significant decrease in the rate of conception both naturally and with the in vitro fertilization method. At advanced ages, the number of eggs obtained as a result of stimulation of the ovaries decreases, and since the probability of chromosomal disorders in the obtained eggs is high, the chance of obtaining pregnancy from embryos formed as a result of fertilization of these eggs is lower than those of younger age. When pregnancy occurs, the rate of miscarriage is higher in older women than in younger patients. The main reason why this is so is the deterioration of egg quality with age.
Infertility period
The duration of infertility has an effect on the rate of conception in both natural and in vitro fertilization patients. For example, at the end of two years, a couple's natural rate of conceiving is 70%, but when it reaches five years, this rate drops to 20%. In IVF treatment, the shorter the couple's infertility period, the higher the chance of conceiving.

Women who have had a previous pregnancy are more likely to conceive both in vitro and naturally than those who have not had pregnancy. If the pregnancy resulted in a live birth, this chance increases even more.
Status of the ovarian resservin
High levels of FSH and E2 hormones, low AMH (anti-mullerian hormone) and low number of antral follicles reduce the possibility of getting pregnant. Here, although the number of eggs is small in younger people, the chance is higher than in older ones.
Since age and duration of infertility are very important, it is necessary to determine the most appropriate treatment for the patient and start the treatment without losing time. One should not waste years of time by doing ovulation treatment alone, limit the number of IUIs (vaccination) to a maximum of 3, and if the patient could not get pregnant with simple treatment methods, he should apply to an IVF center without wasting time.
